Lorin Letendre is currently Principal of Atwater LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in board governance work.  He previously retired as Chairman of the Board of CPP, Inc. a leading publisher of career and personality tests for career and organizational development, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® program.  He also served as President & CEO, Executive Vice President, and Senior Vice President of CPP, Inc.; as Director of Marketing for National Geographic School Publishing, and as a marketing manager, product manager, editor-in-chief, and director of new ventures & acquisitions in the educational testing division of McGraw-Hill, Inc.

Lorin is a member of the National Faculty of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and has co-authored two editions (2004, 2012) of a handbook for NACD on boardroom dynamics.  He also authored several articles in board governance publications.  He currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors of a subsidiary of the National Board for Certified Counselors.

He was founder and Past President of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and Past President of the University of California at Santa Barbara Alumni Association.  Lorin holds a Master’s Degree in the Political and Social Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and taught at the college level for four years prior to joining McGraw-Hill.  He also co-authored two editions of a college textbook for McGraw-Hill.

Tom Wohlmut has over 15 years experience in board governance. During that time he worked directly with the Silicon Valley National Association of Corporate Directors and with the new Silicon Valley Directors’ Exchange (SVDX) to help educate board members on best board practices.

In addition to working in educating boards, Tom has devoted a big part of his time to starting and running the boards of several nonprofit companies. He was founder and first president and chairman of the International Interactive Communications Society (IICS) which grew into 4,000 global members with chapters in Tokyo, New York and Paris. He started and runs an international organization to help stepfamilies worldwide called the Stepfamily Network. (www.stepfamily.net) He was chairman of a food bank in Silicon Valley that fed more than 6,000 families per month. He later assumed the position of interim executive director while a new executive director was being recruited. After moving to San Jose to the luxury AXIS high-rise condos, he was elected chairman of the HOA Board responsible for 329 units. Currently he also serves on the San Jose Jazz board of directors.

Tom has vision and passion for the projects he takes on. No stranger to the boardroom, he has extensive experience helping corporations get results both internally and externally when it comes to communicating,  organizing and working with boards and their executives.
